Placed in ICU. ------------- PHYSICAL EXAM FINDINGS ---------------- Mentation: BAR Temp (F): 101.9 Dehydration (%): 5 Neurologic: WNL Head/mouth/beak: Small scuff over cere Ears: Slight bruising AU Eyes: OU: Good PLRS. Baby cataracts. NSF Wings: R wrist sensitive Legs: NSF Feet: NSF Body: Bruising over abdomen Feather condition: In blood Other: L Yellow/Blue color band Radiographic findings: R wrist spacing seems off. May be a minor fx at that site. Initial treatment: 20cc LRS SQ; 0.3 cc Meloxicam A: Patient appears to have a minor injury on the R wrist. Bones that form the wrist joint have more spacing between them than normal. Patient also has bruising over the abdomen and some in both ears from nest box falling off of tree. Injury on R wrist shouldn't cause any permenant damage, as the joint has not fully developed yet. No other injuries were found on intake exam. P: Rx Meloxicam and fluids. HF in AM/PM BID. Vet check 4/22. Collect blood and fecal from both 4/21. Monitor R wrist for laxity. Monitor bruising over abdomen.
